The Wros family gathered at a cabin at Gatlinburg Falls Resort to celebrate Edward and Thelma’s seventieth wedding anniversary Nov. 14.
That evening the family surprised Edward and Thelma Wros with a Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
Edward and Thelma were married in Butler, Wisconsin on November 14, 1942.
The couple moved to Seymour, TN six years ago.

I’ve met these folks. What this story doesn’t say is that he flew many missions over Germany while his worrying wife wondered if he’d come home in one piece, let alone alive. They both trusted in God during that difficult time, and I safely assume it was that beginning that solidified that never-ending bond between them. God bless them and their offspring.
