A two vehicle accident that occurred at the 100 block of Maryville Hwy. resulted in the arrest of an intoxicated driver Nov. 26.

According to eye-witnesses, when pulling out of the Exxon parking lot a red Ford Explorer was T-boned by a fast moving gold Toyota Camry.

“I just left the gas station and the car flashed before my eyes,” said Kednall Grunenwald II, the driver of the Explorer.

Based on eye-witness accounts, Sevier County Sheriff Officers determined Grunenwald to be at fault in the collision.
