The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency monitored a series of bomb threats that were been made across the state, Nov. 27.
As of 2 p.m., Nov. 27 bomb threats were received in 29 counties.
These threats resulted in evacuations of government offices or county courthouses.
“The Blount County Clerk’s Office had to be evacuated,” said Blount County Sheriff Department Public Relations Officer Marion O’Bryant. “All the workers were sent home.”
