A common complaint many Seymour residents have is the lack of non-fast-food restaurants in the area, but with construction almost complete that could all change.

Selecting Seymour’s Macon Crossing Shopping Center as the location for their ninth restaurant is Pelancho’s Mexican Grill.

Pelacnho’s owner Jesus Yamez said he chose Seymour as the next location as a way to branch out from Knoxville.

“We already have restaurants in Knox and Blount counties,” he said. “This is the next part of our expansion.”
