Knoxville Police officers responded to a report of a female who had been robbed while entering the Citizens Bank of Blount County located at 4000 Chapman Hwy. Nov 14.

According to the victim, whose identity has not been released, she was approached by the suspect who brandished a handgun at about 11 a.m.

The suspect took the deposit from the woman who then fled on foot toward Moody Ave. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighing about 160 lbs. The suspect was wearing a dark navy blue hoodie and blue jeans.
