As popular reality television continues to make a mockery of the south and beauty pageants, one contest winner from Seymour stands as an example against the negativity.
“I am honored to be chosen as such a role model and believe it is my privilege to lead other young ladies in search of their own crowing virtues,” said Miss Virtue America 2013 Jessi Fuller.
Before winning the nationals, Fuller participated in many community service activities such as a stuffed animal drive of East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, literacy promotion at Seymour Primary, and making many public appearances.
As part of the Miss Virtue America tradition, upon receiving corporate sponsorship, Fuller plans to complete a book drive and deliver inspirational speeches to middle schools in Tennessee and surrounding states.
