Average retail gasoline prices in the Knoxville and Seymour have fallen 6.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.11 a gallon as of Nov.12.

This compares with the national average that has fallen 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.46 per gallon, according to gasoline price website KnoxvilleGasPrices.com.

Current gas prices in Seymour averaged $3.07 per gallon Nov. 12, with the lowest being sold at the Boyds Creek Weigels for 3.06 per gallon.

Including the change in area gas prices during the past week, prices yesterday were 12.2 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 44.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
