‘Working Lunch’ speaker series benefits East Tennessee Kidney Foundation
The East Tennessee Kidney Foundation presents transplant expert Oscar H. Grandas, MD, FACS, at its second “Working Lunch” speaker series event on Thursday, Nov. 15, noon-2 p.m. at Cherokee Country Club. Funds raised from the luncheon will benefit local kidney patients.
Grandas, associate professor of surgery at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, will discuss the impact of organ donation and transplantation in renal failure patients.
Grandas also serves as the director of the Vascular Access Center, surgical/medical director of the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program; associate director for research for the Vascular Surgery Division; and a transplant/vascular surgeon, all at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
