Due to the rapid development Seymour has experienced within the last 15 years, many local facilities have been forced to expand to accommodate the growing population. Of these expanding local areas, many of these expansions have been related to the Seymour schools.

Adding land for school use will be a soon-to-be ready field located near Sullivan Place Rd.

“The new field will be used of the football team and the old football field will be converted for the marching band,” said Charles Temple, who represents Seymour on the Sevier County School Board.
