The USA South Athletic Conference released their performers of the week with action ending on October 28^th. Maryville’s Jonathan Clark was named their football defensive rookie of the week for his outstanding effort in a win at Averett University.

The freshman defensive lineman from Villa Rica, Georgia totaled five tackles, two of which were for a loss of 21 yards, in a 31-7 victory over USA South foe Averett. Clark compiled one solo tackle, four assisted take downs, one sack and a pass break-up in the win.
