Four stores in Seymour and one in the Douglas Dam area were burglarized in the early morning of Oct. 23.

According to Sevier County Captain Jeff McCarter Lake Way Market, White Star Market, Down Home Market, Big Mike’s Café, and Home Scape Furnishing were all broken into and robbed between 2:38 a.m. and 8 a.m.

The first alarm to go off was the one for Lake Way Market at 2:38. Even though officers arrived just minutes after, the front door was broken and an undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Following the pattern, the other four stores were hit one after another.
