The Sevier County Commission votes on the Fast Track Infrastructure Development Program. (The Herald/ Joe King)

The Sevier County Commission voted unanimously for a drainage expansion program in hopes of encouraging business growth.

The resolution passed was for a Fast Track Infrastructure Development Program (FIDP), a State grant which provides infrastructure improvements for companies that intend to create jobs.

The resolution was put forth by Quality Solutions Group, LLC, a company that specializes in sorting automotive parts.  

In the resolution it is stated QSG has indicated site drainage improvements are needed for the expansion of the facility that will lead to 25 more jobs in the next three years.
