Although voting for the 2012 Calling All Communities contest ended Oct. 21, official results may be delayed as much as a month before a victory can be claimed in Seymour.
“We won’t have the final results for the next couple of weeks,” Public Relations Counsel Lauren Chris confirmed.
As of the last survey taken Oct. 16 Seymour Middle School was in first place, but a tally of the numbers has not been made available, so there is no way to determine how close the results may be.
A total of 10 Tennessee schools are currently in the Top 100, three of which are in Sevier County. The other two schools are Sevier County High School in 26th and Pigeon Forge Middle School in 61st.
