The Friends of the King Family Library’s Lifelong Learning Program is ‘Building Your Family Tree.’  The class is perfect for those who have always wanted to create a record of their ancestors for future generations.  Terri Butler, avid history buff and long-time volunteer for the Sevier County Library System’s Genealogy Department, will teach you how to create a simple family tree and construct a record of your family’s history.  Terri’s motto is:  “Every time an elderly person dies, it’s as if a library burns to the ground.”  Preserve your past and create a treasure your family will cherish for generations to come.

‘Building Your Family Tree’ will be presented Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 5:30PM at the King Family Library, 408 High Street, Sevierville.  All supplies will be provided and this class is free to attendees, but registration is encouraged.

For more information or to register, please fill out a registration form at the King Family Library Circulation Desk, call (865) 453-3532, or email canderson@sevierlibrary.org.
