The Seymour football team at this point in the season somewhat resembles General Lee’s troops after the battle of Gettysburg.  Almost half the starters are out due to injury.

That is a very difficult situation for a team like Seymour who lacks depth even with everyone healthy.  The problem was evident as the Cherokee Chiefs had their way with Seymour winning 54-6 in Rogersville.

The Eagles (4-5, 1-4 District 2-AAA) were never in the game from start to finish.  It was Seymour’s fifth straight loss after starting the season with four straight wins.
