Sevierville will be the first to kick off Smoky Mountain Winterfest with the annual Music, Lights & Magic event Nov. 5 at the Sevierville Municipal Complex. This completely free event annually draws around 7,000 spectators who enjoy entertainment, free food, kids’ games, fireworks and plenty of great surprises. The event runs from 3-8 p.m. at the Sevierville Municipal Complex located at 110 Gary Wade Blvd.
This year’s Music, Lights & Magic event will once again feature a crowd favorite – the Enchanted Forest. Trees will also be decorated by area businesses.
As always, the event will feature seasonal goodies like hot chocolate, apple cider, popcorn and cotton candy. Fireworks will also be back for the 2012 Winterfest Kick Off.
Other event highlights include carnival games for children, and plenty of inflatable bounce attractions. Bloomie the Pig and other area mascots will also make appearances and participate in a special Mascot Dance Off contest at the end of the night.
