The Seymour Lady Eagles volleyball team took care of business on senior night against their district rival, the Sevier County Smoky Bears.

A volleyball match consists of the best three games out of five. As a spectator, you can expect to watch up to five games or as little as three.

Evidently, the Lady Eagles did not feel like wasting any time. In spite of getting off to a slow start, they won the first game 25-23. The second game was identical, with the Lady Eagles winning by the same margin of 25-23.

Even though the score line was close in both games, it appeared that a third win would come easily, but that wasn’t the case. The third game found the Lady Eagles trailing for the first time, until Sevier County was up 21-16.
