Known for her expertise in blocking on the volleyball court, Seymour High School’s Bailey Thomas signed with Milligan College Oct. 2 as part of a ceremony to the athletic scholarship she received.

“I’m very excited,” Thomas said at the signing. “I can’t wait. I will be studying nursing.“

Thomas, who began as a softball player her freshman year, said she made the switch to volleyball the following year because she enjoyed the fast pace of the game.

After just two years of playing volleyball Thomas held some impressive statistics from this year’s season.
