With all of the pushback Our Smokies, Our Future has been getting from grassroots groups in Sevier County such as the Tea Party and other conservative constitutionalists, the elements of secrecy projecting from the visionary process isn’t helping to ease any suspicions.

Not only has OSOF failed to provide information about where its funding comes from even after Stefanie Johnson, who heads the organization, said she would look into the matter, but Johnson has not retuned any of our calls since July.

And while all of the steering committee members are listed on the OSOF website, the only contact information provided is a general “info” email account, which also has resulted in zero replies.
