The City of Sevierville Police Department will participate in the Boys and Girls Club Safety Day event this Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Sevierville City Park.

SPD officers will be present from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will provide the several services to those who attend.

SPD Officers will be available to fingerprint children of all ages and provide parents with a comprehensive Child Identification kit that can include the child’s fingerprints, DNA, photograph, dental records and other personal information.

Law enforcement officials highly recommend that parents keep this type of information on hand so that they can be used in the event their child is lost or abducted. For divorced parents, the SPD recommends that each parent keep this information at their residence.
