A plot of land that has been highly contested in Seymour was officially rezoned Sept. 11, although not to the code that was originally requested.
The parcel in question is 66.04, a plot of land located off of North Knob Creek and Tittsworth Springs Roads.
The property is owned by Barry Shular.
Earlier this year Shular had requested the parcel be rezoned from R-2 to R-2M, however that petition was voted down on two separate occasions by the Sevier County Commission.
