For the first time in 10 years, the South-Doyle Cherokees (3-0, 1-0) are undefeated. Their latest victory was over Heritage (0-4, 0-1) on their homecoming night as the Cherokees dominated 40-0.

Their 33-0 lead at the half was impressive to say the least.

South-Doyle scored again early in the third quarter to start the continuous clock rule.

In the preseason South-Doyle Coach Clark Duncan made the statement, “If I can’t win with the players we have now, with their talent and experience, then I should be fired.”
