A nine-day book sale later this month will provide monetary help to the Seymour Library, and will offer residents an opportunity to enhance their home book collections.

Friends of Seymour Library, Friends of Kodak Library and Friends of the King Family Library in Sevierville have come together to organize the book sale. The three non-profit groups will later split the proceeds from the sale and use them to benefit their respective libraries.

The Seymour Friends group has voted for this year’s funds to pay for blinds that will protect books and computer screens from bright sunlight in the Seymour Library.

The sale will take place Sept. 21 through 29 at the King Family Library, 408 High Street in Sevierville and will take place during regular library hours.
