When head football coach Clark Duncan took over the South-Doyle Cherokee football program four years ago, the program was flat on its back.  Now the Cherokees are undefeated at 2-0 and playing very good football.

Last week they defeated the Morristown-East Hurricanes 19-14 at home.

“It’s been a long time since we were 2-0,” said Duncan. “It was huge for us to win this game.”

The students were very vocal the entire game as they seem to have a new found pride in the Cherokee football team.
