While allegedly attempting to pawn off some fake money, two people were arrested by the Sevierville Police Department Aug 26.

According to Sevierville Police Department Public Information Officer Bob Stahlke, a vender from Flea Market Traders went into the Fast Stop Market located at 1855 Winnfield Dunn Parkway to purchase a drink, and used a counterfeit $20 bill for the transaction.

Upon noticing that the bill seemed questionable, the gas station clerk called the police.
