The Seymour Lady Eagles opened their season at home with a convincing win over Anderson County 4-0.

Scoring was spread out evenly throughout the game with the Lady Eagles scoring two goals in the first half and two goals in the second while shutting out the Lady Mavericks.

Scoring was shared by Seymour’s outstanding juniors, Sarah Brewer and Courtney Dyer with two each.

Dyer scored midway through the first half after an assist by Brewer, and Brewer scored with 10 minutes to go in the half after an assist by Kelsey Heck.
