As far as Seymour is concerned, Chapman Hwy. is usually the hotbed for automobile accidents, but a recent sight may put that expectation into question.

While driving west on Black Oak Ridge Rd. and attempting to make the sharp right turn on a downward slant, Sarah Sharp’s car dropped into a ditch Aug. 23 at about 2 p.m.

“It happened all at once,” Sharp said.

As the front-end of the passenger-side of car remained slopped down into the ditch, the car’s rear-end was raised nearly two-feet off of the road.
