Although the crime was committed nearly a year ago, a secondary investigation by the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department led to the arrest of the suspect.

Jackie King, 33 of N. Cunningham Rd. in Seymour, was arrested last week in connection to a 2011 burglary of a Seymour residence.

The incident was reported to SCSD Sept. 18, 2011 when Brenda Tetting of Seymour discovered her home had been burglarized.

Entry to the house located at N. Cunningham Rd. had been gained by force through a shattered rear sliding glass door.
