After an armed robber managed to elude local law enforcement while holding-up the Seymour Subway restaurant, Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals said the case has been put under investigation.

Manager of the Subway location, Brenda Gibbs, said the sheriff’s department now has the surveillance footage, and she hopes this evidence will lead to the capture of the perpetrator.

“I honestly believe that gas station next door will be hit next,” Gibbs said. “Now, we keep our entire store on lockdown.”

Gibbs recalled how the Domino’s Pizza next to the Subway was robbed a few months prior and believes the robber to be same person.
