With the school year officially started for Sevier County, preliminary preparations have finally come to a conclusion, but that doesn’t mean the Board of Education has stopped looking for improvement opportunities.
At the Aug. 13 Sevier County Board of Education meeting numerous policy changes and other motions were unanimously approved by the board.
“With what has been done to get the motor tuned-up, we are going to have a good year,” said Charles Temple, who represents Seymour on Sevier County Board of Education. “I appreciate each and every one of you.”
Perhaps the most prominent change is the adjustment made to the grading scale.
