After a fire broke out last week and destroyed nearly everything in their home, a Seymour family is still working through their major loss as they shift through the ashes.

To make the community aware of this local tragedy, the Herald published an article about the fire and listed an address where donations could be sent to. Unfortunately, the address was cut off due to a technical error.

Donations for the Long family can be sent to 213 South Old Sevierville Pike, Seymour, TN 37865.

“I don’t want to beg to the community,” said Dee Long, mother of two. “It will come together with time.”
For Long and her children Stormie, 10, and Luke, 15, the fire took more than they could ever imagine losing.
