In many cases of misfortune there is usually at least one safety net for victims to fall back on, but one Seymour family is hoping the community will come together for them.

A fire that broke out at 601 Maryville Hwy. left the Long family with hardly any possessions and no where to call home.

In addition to furniture, clothing and cookware, Dee Long and her two children Stormie, 10, and Luke, 15, lost all of their personal belongings.

“The entire house is burnt out,” Long said.
