While a 61st wedding anniversary can be enjoyed in many ways, Bobby Jack and Wilma Latham marked the occasion with a first-time event in their family’s history.

The first Latham family reunion was held July 28 at Pleasant Hill Fellowship Hall in Seymour.

“The reunion was a success,” Wilma Latham said. “We had about 50 people and there were cousins we had never met before.”

Of the seven Latham families, members from six were present.
