Chanelle Price continues to set herself up for a fine post-collegiate career. Running in the the 2012 Flanders Cup Meet, the 22nd Memorial Rasschaert, the Tennessee standout cranked out a career-best time of two minutes, 0.15 seconds to finish third in the 800 meters on Saturday.
Price finished behind two Americans in section one of a two-heat final, with Maggie Vessey winning in 1:59.98 and former Lady Vol Erica Moore taking second in 2:00.05.
The readout by Price was the third-fastest ever recorded by a Lady Vol, falling behind the 1:58.22 and 1:59.21 efforts registered by Phoebe Wright at the end of her final season at UT in 2010.
