As Seymour High School goes through a major administrative change with Kristy Wallen filling the position of principal left empty Greg Clark’s move to the central office, there will also be new assistant principals for the upcoming school year.

Janet Johnson, Troy Kelley, and John Robinette, were named the new assistant principals.  Jim Moore will continue his role as an acting assistant principal and physical education teacher.

Robinette, Kelley, and Johnson all worked in SHS previously and had former administrative experience. Both Kelley and Robinette will be part-time Assistant Principals and continue at SHS as part-time teachers; Kelley as a data coach and Robinette as a math teacher.

Johnson, who was SHS’s special education coordinator, will continue to fill that role and use her administrative experience gained from the position as she fills the remaining assistant principal need.
