Despite high competition in the Seymour restaurant industry, one young entrepreneur is confidant in the future of his operation.
Although only 28 years old, Simeon Kross already has more than five years of management experience with Snappy Tomato Pizza. Now Kross is utilizing the various skills he learned as an employee to run a self-owned Seymour franchise derived from that same pizza company as the sole owner.
“I started off at the first store off of Northshore in Knoxville seven years ago as a part-time manager to earn a little extra income,” he said. “By the time I was 24, I was the district manager of all of the stores.”
Kross said one thing that made his management experience with Snappy Tomato Pizza unique and rewarding was being part of the Knoxville business as it grew from one location into a local restaurant chain which currently stretches out into Oak Ridge, Lenoir City, Maryville, and now Seymour.
