The Mountain Cove Marina at Douglas Lake collapsed around 6:30 pm Thursday when a fast-moving storm hit the area.

At least four pontoon boats were turned upside down, and 12 houseboats were pushed up against the rocks after their the dock they were tied to was ripped from their anchors.

A firefighter on the scene said there are people injured, but they’re not sure how many.

Even the campgrounds were not spared. Many had trees smashed into their RVs or tents.
