Two men were taken into custody last week following a Blount County Sheriff’s Office search warrant in the Hall Community.

Stephen Lawrence Hatcher, 53 of Alcoa, and Adam Joseph Sudderth, 23 of Alcoa, are both being held in the Blount County Detention Facility.

Hatcher is charged with maintaining a dwelling where controlled substances are being used, sold, and manufactured. Sudderth is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (crack cocaine and pills). Bond amounts and court dates have not yet been set.

Investigators with the Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force, along with the Sheriff’s Office SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) executed a state search warrant at Hatcher’s residence on E. Newcomen Street shortly after 3 p.m. June 28.
