With all of the fireworks tents competing in Seymour it can get hard to tell them apart, but one tent operator in particular has more than just booming business in mind.
Jason Dossett, 24, who operates the TNT Fireworks tent in the Macon Crossing Shopping Center, works the firework gig as a volunteer for JC Ministries.
“TNT sets the prices and provides the fireworks,” he said. “We were fortunate enough that the company setup the tent for us and came with a truck of 156 fireworks.”
Dossett, who just completed his first year as a science teacher in Johnson City, said JC Ministries will receive 20 percent of the profits from the firework tent.
