Thanks to a fast response, the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department was able to save a man’s life June 10.
SVFD Chief Kevin Nunn said a man at the Weigel’s in Seymour suffered from cardiac arrest and a bystander was performing CPR when the responders arrived just a few minutes after the occurrence.
“We used the AED Defibrillator and got his pulse back,” Nunn said. “He was transported to UT Medical Hospital afterwards.”
Both Nunn and SVFD member John Perry were the first responders on the scene.
