Logan Seagle’s baseball career is a Cinderella story come true.  The Seymour Eagle catcher has signed letter-of-intent to play for the Roane State Community College Raiders.

Although he didn’t play a lot until his senior year, Seagle made up for lost time.  Through hard work and dedication and never giving up hope, Seagle fulfilled a dream which was to play college baseball.

“Each year I have a player that comes from nowhere to be a very good player,” said Seymour Baseball Coach Scott Norman.  “This year that was Logan.  He was a borderline keeper as a freshman and worked his way into a starting job and then exceeded that by going to the next level.”

“Signing was a great day for me,” said Seagle.  I didn’t know they (Roane State) were going to offer anything.  All the hard work paid off.”
