Knox-Chapman Utility District has announced changes to the water supply that will affect the Seymour and South-Knox area.

Gary Jones, General Manager for Knox-Chapman, said three new projects aimed to improve the water supply in the area are slated to begin in the first half of June.

“We are following our five and 10 year plan to bring more water to Seymour,” Jones said.

The first of the three projects is the construction of a two-million gallon water tank. The tank will be located at Fagley Rd. and East Union Valley Rd. Jones said the expected cost for the construction is near $1.7 million and the price for the tank itself is estimated at $1.3 million.
