Bill Landry will host a guided trip around Cades Cove one Saturday a month for five months beginning in June, as part of the Cades Cove Heritage Tours special programs.

The Emmy Award winning host of the popular Heartland Series and author of “Appalachian Tales & Heartland Adventures,” will share stories, tales and adventures from the people who called Cades Cove home in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

“Mountain people, with their stories celebrating the origins and life ways of these mountains,” Landry said recently, “is the topic of conversation during these trips.

“All and more – under a tree, on a porch, or by a stream, in the most beautiful place in the Great Smoky Mountains – Cades Cove.”
