As recent graduates of Seymour High School prepare to enter a new phase in their lives, the first ever graduating class of Seymour reflects on a milestone.

The class of 1962 celebrated their 50th Class Reunion May 18.

Although it has been nearly half a month since the reunion, Carolyn Palmer Henderlight, one of the 26 original graduates, is still excited about the event.

“It is good to see everybody and catch up,” she said. “A lot has happened to everybody, some good and some tragedies, but we like to be there for each other. We are just like one big family.”
