A Jefferson County man has been arrested in connection with a home burglary that occurred in Sevier County.

On May 18 a residence at 1639 Moon Court was burglarized and several items were taken. Investigators were called to the scene where they retrieved video surveillance footage from a hidden camera that the property owner had installed.

A vehicle and a suspect were identified from the video after the suspect was arrested in Jefferson County on other burglary charges.

The suspect had been identified as Kevin M. Gossett, 22 of New Market.
