The Seymour Lady Eagle volleyball players will have a new coach. (The Herald/Lee Ramsey)

Seymour High School has hired Erin Biddle as their new volleyball coach.  The 23-year-old Biddle played volleyball at Milligan College and Cocke County High School.

Biddle comes from a coaching family as her parents, Miss and E. L. Biddle coached her Cocke County team.

The young Biddle has some big shoes to fill as she replaces the legendary Coach Ed Irvin who was at Seymour eight seasons and compiled a 202-113 record.

Besides coaching, Biddle will work in the special education department.
