The Seymour Middle School girls’ golf team recently finished second in the East Tennessee Middle School Golf Association State Tournament at Lambert Acres Golf Course.

Seymour finished with a team score of 193 while the winning team was King’s Academy with a 183.

Lady Eagle 7th grader Katelyn Witucki was a state individual medalist with an 18 hole score of 86.

King Academy’s 8th grader Julia Weech was runner-up with an 88.
