A Seymour convenience store was robbed at gunpoint last week.

At approximately 10 p.m. May 17 a white man brandishing a handgun entered Floyd’s Market on Chapman Hwy. and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money.

The clerk told officers the perpetrator entered the store, presented a black handgun, made her open the cash register and give him its contents before he fled the store on foot.

The robber is described as a white man, between 5-feet-9-inches and 6-feet tall, has a thin build and brown medium length hair.
