A new South Knoxville restaurant gave back to the community during its grand opening last week.

The area’s newest McDonald’s, which is located at 7545 Mountain Grove Dr., held its Grand Opening ceremony May 10.

“The ribbon cutting went wonderful,” said Tom Cochran, owner of Cochran Family Restaurants. “We had a good response and everybody enjoyed the new look.”

Cochran Family Restaurants, which owns and operates 26 McDonald’s franchises in the Knox County and Seymour area, is looking to modernize their facilities, according to Cochran.
