The Lady Eagle golf team recently placed second in the 2012 East Tennessee Regional Golf Tournament at Lambert Acres Golf Course in Maryville.
With the finish, the Lady Eagles will advance to the state competition which will also be held at Lambert Acres.
On the boys’ side, Seymour Middle School seventh grader Wesley Jones shot a blistering 18-hole score of 71 which was medalist and he will advance to the state tournament also at Lambert Acres.
The Kings Academy girls won the region championship with a 182 while Seymour scored 190.
